Project Summary
This project was commissioned by PGL and Foreign Languages at the University of Florida. The task was to design and develop four learning modules that will help teaching assistants understand the importance and value of technology in the classroom.
These modules were developed using PHP technology, allowing the user to enter information that can later be viewed in the course of the module and printed for assessment. User participation is encouraged, thereby enhancing the interactivity of the modules. Case studies, quizzes, interactive interviews and additional resources diversify the presentation of the content.
The four modules cover the following topics:
- Technology and Task Design
- Evaluating Activites

- Asynchronous Computer-mediated Communication.
